We started by choosing our least favorite times of the year when we naturally had less work, and told ourselves that it was the best time to get away, do what we love the most, and play! At Dances In Air retreats, you will train with professional performers and instructors that coach holistically, caring for the whole body, spirit, and lifestyle. Immerse yourself in the best approach to caring for yourself.
Our chefs prepare healthy foods for cleansing and supporting the body during these retreats that can reset your personal diet. Most meals come from vegetation on the retreat grounds and local organic farms.
Our leaders prepare a schedule in balance with vigorous activity and necessary rest and rehabilitation. Injury prevention is a way of life for the trainers and is worked into the lessons. Enjoy add on body work sessions from local massage therapists and more.
The instructors take a personal approach to every student to develop lesson plans ahead of the retreat based on phone interviews, and then revise them daily according to progress and individual needs during each retreat. You can often find the trainers at morning tea reviewing the lesson plan or doing yoga at sunrise to charge their bodies for the day. Each trainer is an expert with teacher trainings and various certifications related to their focus. And each trainer is passionate about their art and students!
